How to Download Facebook Marketplace Photos
Marketplace is Facebook's car boot sale, and the photos are taped to the windscreen. You are allowed to look, you are not being handed a copy. Three steps and you are holding one.
Copy the Listing Link
In the app, open the listing and tap share, then copy link. On desktop, the address bar link is the one. Both shapes are working, and so is the short numeric link the share sheet is sometimes handing out.
Paste It and Press Get the Gallery
Picazor is reading the listing's own data first, and if Facebook is hiding the gallery behind script it is opening the listing in a real browser on our side and reading the View photo buttons one by one.

The grid is showing every photo in the listing in order, each with its own button, each at the largest size Facebook is holding. The seller is seeing nothing, the fetch is happening from our side.

Open a listing, right click the big photo, save. What you are saving is the thumbnail the viewer is showing, and the real photos are sitting behind the View photo buttons that Facebook is drawing with script after the page has loaded. Nothing in the first page is a photo. A page full of photos with no photos in it sounds wrong, and yet that is how Marketplace is built.
Facebook is also moving the photo addresses around. Three different server families in one year on the same listings, and the buttons renamed from Thumbnail to View photo somewhere in the middle. A downloader that is looking for last month's address is coming back empty this month. Picazor is reading the listing's own data first, the block Facebook ships with the page listing every photo, and only when that is missing is it opening the listing in a real browser and counting the buttons.
But is the seller seeing any of that?
No. The listing is being opened from our server, not from your account. No message, no view, no name. The seller is seeing exactly what they were seeing before, a listing with photos on it.

Seventeen Photos In, Seventeen Photos Out
A real listing we are testing against is carrying seventeen photos. The card in the feed is showing one. The listing page is showing about six before the viewer takes over. Picazor is returning seventeen. Not the first one, not the six, seventeen, and in the order the seller loaded them.
The mobile version of the same listing is offering twenty six pictures, because the phone page is stuffing suggested listings in beside the real ones. Twenty six is not more, it is worse. We are throwing the extras away and handing you the listing, nothing more.
Who Is Saving Marketplace Photos, and What For
A listing is a shop window that is getting bricked up the moment the item sells. Everyone on this list has stood in front of a bricked up window at least once.
The Buyer Keeping the Listing
You are meeting the seller on Saturday and the listing is getting marked sold on Friday, which is deleting every photo. Keep the gallery now, so what you saw is what you are checking against on the day.
The Seller Who Lost the Originals
The phone that took the photos is gone and the listing is the only copy left of the sofa, the bike, the car before it sold. Paste your own listing and the originals are coming back to you.
Proof for a Dispute
The photo on the listing had no tear on the cushion. The delivered sofa does. A full size copy with the listing number is the evidence, a screenshot of a thumbnail is not.
Comparing Five of the Same Thing
Five used mowers, five galleries, one folder on the desktop, and a decision made side by side instead of switching tabs at midnight.
Dealers Relisting Their Own Stock
A car yard with forty listings and a new page to build. The photos exist once, on Facebook, and the tool is bringing them back a listing at a time.

What Marketplace Download Cannot Do
Five things, said plainly, so no one is pasting for ten minutes and blaming the link.
Sold or Deleted Listings
Marking a listing sold is removing it, and with it every photo. If the link is opening a blank page on Facebook it is opening a blank page for us. Paste it while it is live.
Listings Shared Only in Messenger
Some sellers are posting to Messenger threads and never to the public Marketplace. If the listing has no public page, there is nothing for a link to point at.
The Seller's Own Picture
The gallery is the item, not the person. For the seller's profile picture use Profile View, it is the tool built for exactly that, and it is in the footer.
Videos Inside a Listing
A few listings are carrying a short clip. The gallery pull is taking the photos. The clip is on the list for the video tool, it is not here yet, and we are saying so rather than pretending.
Region Locked Listings
Facebook is putting a login wall on Marketplace in some regions and not others. We are retrying through more than one, and a handful of listings are staying behind the wall.
The seller's picture is a job for Profile View, and a buy and sell group post with several photos is a job for Album Download.
