Two Cookies We Might Set, and the Ones We Never Touch

A cookie is a small note a website is leaving in your browser so it can recognise the browser next time. Picazor is leaving at most two, both from Google Analytics, both about counting visits, and both refusable. The tool itself is leaving none. That is the whole policy, and the table is the detail.

What Google Analytics Is Seeing, and Not Seeing

If analytics is enabled on the site it is seeing which pages are being opened, in what order, from roughly which country, on roughly which kind of device, and for how long. That is helping us see which tool page people are actually using and which one is confusing them. It is not seeing the link you pasted, it is not seeing the file you downloaded, and it is not seeing anything about a Facebook account, because the site itself is not seeing any of that either. The Facebook fetch is happening on our server, away from your browser, and analytics is a script in your browser.

Your Facebook Cookies, Which We Are Never Reading

No. No, the site is not reading your Facebook cookies, your Facebook session, or your Facebook profile, and it could not if it wanted to. A website is only able to read its own cookies, that is how browsers are built, and picazorlive.com is not facebook.com. When you paste a link, the fetch is going out from our server with our own access, and your logged in Facebook tab is playing no part in it. That is why the poster is seeing no view from you, and it is why there is nothing here to worry about on that front.

How to Refuse the Two We Might Set

Block cookies for picazorlive.com in your browser's site settings. The tool is working exactly the same without them.
Install Google's own opt out extension, which is stopping Analytics from counting you on every site, not only this one.
Use a browser or a blocker that is stripping analytics scripts. Brave, uBlock Origin and Firefox's strict mode are all doing it by default.

Nothing on the site is breaking when analytics is blocked. The paste bar is working, the download is working, and we are simply counting one visitor fewer.
